It took me ages to realize this song's worth.

This song makes me wonder of the things I do in my life. Does my work go unnoticed? Or simply unappreciated?

I know that I am a person that wouldn't settle for less. But, why do I always feel like second best? Is it really that bad? I do try to be number one. I try. And sometimes, I find myself thinking, is that all there is to it?

I try but problems just keep lagging me down. When trying doesn't work its magic, what's left of us? What's left of me? I find myself completely hopeless and confused in deciding whether to try again or leave the matter in the trash.

Maybe, I need a moment to fix myself, to get another view of things or to be fixed. Maybe, I just need to try a bit more or find something that will drive me to try twice harder. Maybe, I need hope...

I have tasted disappointment and regret. I dare not experience the hurt anymore.
